With joy and a great feeling of gratitude, I would like to officially introduce you to my second son Ezekiel Charles Powers. He came into this world September 4th, 2015 at 4:30am, weighing 7lbs 5oz. and measuring 20inches long of pure beautiful boy. His name means “God strengthens”; which is exactly what I felt when we decided on his name. I was flipping through my Bible and came upon the book of Ezekiel and was remembered how that name has captured me in the past. It just felt right to name him such a beautiful and strong name that kept our focus centered on the truth. We are all so happy he is here and healthy. From conception to birth, human life is such a miracle and we are reminded this every time we look at his sweet face and full head of hair (which we were all totally shocked about). Waylon is adjusting well to being a big brother. He is very interested in holding his baby but at the same time we know his little brain is trying to wrap itself around this huge life change. He’s the perfect addition to our family!
