Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away; Lengthen night and shorten day; Every leaf speaks bliss to me Fluttering from the autumn tree. I shall smile when wreaths of snow Blossom where the rose should grow; I shall sing when night's decay Ushers in a drearier day. -Emily Bronte
Seriously call me basic but when San Diego dips below 70 degrees I take every advantage to throw on a sweater and grab a latte and I ain’t ashamed to admit it! 😉
I grew up in the Northern California and used to drive to school in fog so thick you couldn’t see 2 feet in front of your car. That last part was actually quite scary especially as a 17 year old driving on precarious background to make it to first period PE class. But for some reason I knew I could do it and my parents trusted me…so weird ha ha. All these random memories remind me of a season in life that brought warmth and good times with family.
I’m exited to partner with Old Navy again to show you all our favorite cozy items for fall through winter.
I mean come on! This Faux-Suede Sherpa-Trim Trapper Hat for Ruby was a no brainer. Perfect for chilly mornings dropping the boys off at school or visiting Nana and Papa for Thanksgiving in the Bay Area. You might not think at first to pair it with a dress but I love how it looks with the Plaid Ruffle Trim Dress and Hooded Textured Knit Cardigan.
For the Boys I love Old Navy’s Built-In Warm Jeans, Built-In Flex Super Skinny Jeans, and Karate Built-In Flex Slim Jeans paired with a Hooded Quilted Vest on Zeke and the Go-Warm Color-Blocked Sherpa Zip Jacket on Waylon. Both boys are wearing a Solid Thermal Crew-Neck Tee in white under their cozy vest and jacket.
He’s very attached to me these days… I’ll take it cause I know in a few years I won’t be so cool anymore.
Heart eyes over this for dayssssssss!
Oh and this too!
I’m wearing the the women’s “HIGH-RISE THE POWER JEAN A.K.A. THE PERFECT STRAIGHT ANKLE JEANS” and let me tell you… they fit so good! This is the first pair of non-maternity jeans that I’ve been able to slip into and I totally did a happy dance in the dressing room.
My dad built this zip line this summer for the kids when I was hugely pregnant and trying to pass the time before baby! Ruby was the highlight of our summer but this zip-line was a close second ha ha!
