Malibu “Mini Market” Photoshoot

I am a lover of Nancy Meyers’ movies. Nancy Meyers has a way of making you want to live in her movies. I have nothing but love for her elegant yet whimsical aesthetic. I mention all this because the Malibu Zuma Barn home (which you can rent on Kid + Coe)…is very much Nancy Meyers and very much my dream setting to photographing children. We let them run wild, have fun, and do what they do best, PLAY! I just got to capture them in their element for Shop Van De Vort’s new children’s boutique Mini Market. I brought my boys along for the ride, they played and enjoyed the sunshine and Zeke napped in the baby carrier while I snapped photos. It wasn’t easy, there were hurried and harry moments of mothering while multitasking but it was fun and very adventurous.
