Oscar “At Home” Style

oscarstyle5Since my formidable years I’ve always had a thing for the Oscars; well specifically the red carpet. I love the glamor of it all and the art of dressing up. I may never make it to the Oscars, but I can certainly make it to an Oscar party. In the last 4 years after becoming a mother, I’m not really up to par on which movies are nominated for awards; getting to the movies isn’t as easy as it was before. Side note, thank you Netflix for being easily accessible and awesome. This year I thought it would be fun to get some friends together and have an Oscar “red carpet” party. This is an excellent excuse to wear a fancy shmancy dress. So my friend Kelly Fondots came over this morning and snapped some photos of me in my “Oscar Party” ensemble while I preformed normal Friday morning mom duties. What movies/actors are you hoping win awards this year? Oh and PS I’m wearing my baby monitor while my baby napped.
