Bates Nut Farm is a must for Pumpkin Patching in October. We went during the week with my mom and sister and her kids. If you can go during the week I suggest you do instead of on the weekend since it’s quite popular and gets crazy busy.
We arrived and Waylon jumped out of the car immediately overwhelmed with what to do first.
The funny thing is that we actually never looked at the pumpkins while there; the petting zoo, and pony and hay rides were all the boys wanted to see. So no annual baby on the pumpkin pic. Life with my boy Waylon is all about rolling with the punches and following his lead; he’s taught me to be patient and not have my own agenda for sure. We had a great time and it’s always a joy to see his perspective change every year while visiting the same places. Oh and a disclaimer, he has a black eye from running into the car door since he likes to wear hats over his eyes, such as toddler life.
