Pumpkin Patching at Peltzer Farm

I’m giving myself extra mom points because we got to the pumpkin patch on October 1st! (don’t worry mom points are only real in my head). We visited Peltzer Farm for the first time and let me tell you it was everything and MORE. Nestled in the most beautiful part of Temecula is a beautiful family owned pumpkin farm with all the best fall activities including drinking wine! The boys had the best time riding the train around the corn field, taking ponies rides, petting the sheep and goats, watching pigs races and of course picking out pumpkins. I’m adding this activity to our yearly traditions and I think you should too… no really you will love it. Go early, get your pummies (Zeke’s word for pumpkins), check out the animals, stay for the pig races and order the bread plate with a glass of Rosé before going home.Pumpkin Patching at Peltzer Pumpkin Farm

Pumpkin Patching at Peltzer Farms

Oh my sweet son! This photo of him shows so much about his spirit. He’s kind, passionate, full of life and energy but learning so so much in life right now and growing up daily.

Putting Zeke on my shoulders was the only way to keep him from climbing over the fence to get to the ponies….

Grey, white and orange: my favorite pumpkin color combo! Look for colors that contrast with each other for an extra color pop on your porch.

Zeke was yelling, “pummmmies!!!! and Waylon was running after him pretending to be a mummy.

Stop looking at me like that Zeke or you’ll end up with more siblings… gah be still my heart! Do you ever do that? Look at a photo of your child and think, “Gosh how did I help create this little human?”

He was a serious pony rider with occasional smirks here and there.

The bread at Peltzer Winery is so so good…pair it with a glass of their wine and you will be transported to a happy happy place.

I savor moments like this where he isn’t embarrassed to let me hold him and I remember that he will always be my baby.

Super cliche but “ROSÉ ALLLLL DAY!”

I bribed them with jelly beans for a family photo…just saying, “ain’t no shame” in a little bribe to document your family moments.

These pig races were so hilarious and fun and don’t worry no pigs were hurt during the races they were smiling just as big as us.

Tiny pumpkins for everyone!!!
