Guys we are busy, as I’m sure you are too. Because we have full schedules I’m always trying to figure out how to keep things balanced, especially when it comes to our diets and making sure we’re getting all our nutrients in. I’m happy to share that I found a way to get more plant based protein into our diets annnnd since protein is an essential macronutrient required for the proper function of every cell in the body I feel pretty good about it.
I’ve always loved making green smoothies for my kids but when I started making them with OLLY Kids Nourishing Smoothies, it got so much easier. Plus they love helping me make them…I found that if they help make something they want to eat more it it as well. Double win!
I’ve also been making OLLY’s new Super Foods Smoothie for myself every day. I’ve found it leaves me more energized and full throughout the day so I feel like I’m making better food choice and not just snacking on kids’ leftovers.
OLLY has various smoothie options so I’m confident that we all are getting the vitamins, nutrients and support that our bodies need. Plus it tastes goooood… which we all know is number one in feeding children.
In a nutshell here’s why I love OLLY Nourishing Smoothies:
- They’re easy to use
- They taste good
- They are packed with protein, fiber, vitamins and organic veggies
- Waylon and Zeke downed them!
- And they fill me up so I’m good to go for a while
You don’t need to add anything to them other than water or milk but here are two of our recipes for the best smoothies around:
