While on vacation in Santa Cruz I drove to Marin County with my mom, niece, and Zeke to shoot portraits at Neve and Hawk’s flagship store in San Anselmo, CA. This beautiful brand is family owned and operated and aligns so closely with the things that I love. Bob and Kris opened their doors about a month ago and have dove head first into their mission; encouraging children to find their own creative paths. They teach creative classes such as screen printing and have allowed their space to be communal and open. This particular Saturday was the first time they have ever hosted a pop up shop event and it was so much fun to be a part of it. Using their beautiful space in the front of their shop I offered $50 mini sessions for “child portraits” and some fun candid “mama and child” moments as well. Side note, I am already planning a “Southern Cal Mini Session”…more details to come! Below are some of my favorite moments captured at the “Bay Area Kid’s Pop Up Shop” as well as time with my family eating lunch in an idyllic park and scouting out the Golden Gate bridge on the way home with my tender hearted niece.
Shoot me a comment if you’re interested in a mini session!
xoxo,
