Q: What’s the first article of clothing you put on a baby?
A: A diaper!
I realized this when it was pointed out to me by the Pampers team at the Proctor & Gamble headquarters in Cincinnati last month. Ruby and I had the honor of joining the Pampers Baby Board and were flown out to Ohio to meet the team and learn what truly makes Pampers the best choice in diapers. In my 3 week postpartum fog the only question I could come up with was: “How do you make them smell so good?” Pampers were the first item of clothing that was placed on all my babies and that sweet scent is nostalgic for me… it takes me back to those first days of life in the hospital when the whole world stops and your presence is 100% focused on what really matters.
