The Best Pumpkin Bread EverWhen my friend Amie asked if she could make her famous “best pumpkin bread” for us I said “heck yes”! We all taste tested it and yes it is so DANG good! So here’s our first guest recipe post by Amie Simpson.

As this time of the year approaches us women tend to go overboard with Fall Y’all!  Boots, harvest color flannels, beanies, blanket scarves and pumpkin spice everything!

But Really, we do love a good Fall crisp morning with a hot cup of tea or coffee and a cozy blanket, and a slice of a yummy treat.

Which makes me think of my mama’s homemade pumpkin bread; even the non-pumpkin critics love it!  It’s a super simple, delicious, moist, (yes, I said moist!), yummy slice of Fall and makes the house smell amazing!   Now, go on with your pumpkin spicy self!

Mama’s Famous Pumpkin Bread

(Preheat oven to 350 degrees)
3 cups of flour
3 cups of sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp pumpkin spice
1 1/2 tsp salt
4 eggs
1 cup avocado or olive oil
1 cup canned pumpkin
2 tsp baking soda
Grease and flour loaf pan(s) or bundt pan.
Mix all ingredients together.  Fill pans half full.
Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick comes clean thru middle of bread.
